Hönstvättning/Chook washing

Min favoritgrej på "Royal Easter Show" är hönstvättningen. Där är ett helt rum fyllt med olika höns och där är en hönsexpert som visar hur man tar bra hand om sina höns. Man tvättar dem, tar med tandborste mellan tårna på dem och fönar dem med en specialfön.

My favorite thing at the "Royal Easter Show" is the chook washing. There is a whole room full of chooks and there is also a "chook expert" who demonstrates how to take the best care of your chooks. You wash them, clena them between the toes with a toothbrush an then you dry them with a special "chook hairdryer".

Royal Easter Show

I fredags var jag och Emma på "Royal Easter Show". Det är en årlig show som varje år har ca 900,000 besökare. Det är en show om australisk kultur, jordbruk, karuseller, underhållning, mattält mm. Vi tog färjan dit och var där hela dagen. Mina tår var mosade efter dagens slut pga föräldrar som inte kan köra sina barnvagnar ordentligt. Aj!

Last Friday Emma and I went to the "Royal Easter Show". It's a yearly show that 900,000 visit. It's a show about Australian culture, farming, rides, entertainment, food etc. We took the ferry all the way to the show and we spent the whole day there. At the end of the day I was really tired of people not in contol of their prams. My toes really hurt. Ouch!
